Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and SmokeNade LLC ("SmokeNade", "we", "us") for your use of the SmokeNade apps and website (together, "SmokeNade"). By using SmokeNade you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use SmokeNade. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
1. Who can use SmokeNade
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have your parent or guardian's permission. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure.
2. What SmokeNade is, and is not
- Information, not financial advice. Prices, portfolio values, profit and loss, trade-up and case calculations are estimates from third-party market data. They can be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Do not rely on them as the only basis for buying or selling anything.
- We do not sell, hold or trade items. SmokeNade never takes custody of your items or money, and does not open cases, sell keys or run any game of chance. Trades and purchases happen on Steam or on third-party marketplaces, under their terms.
- Outside links. "Buy" links and embedded videos and streams come from third parties we do not control. Some links are affiliate links that may earn us a commission at no cost to you.
- Not affiliated with Valve. SmokeNade is an independent app, not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve Corporation. Counter-Strike and Steam are trademarks of Valve. Lineup and guide videos belong to their creators, who are credited and linked.
3. Your content
You own what you create, such as loadouts, crafts and community submissions. By submitting a craft to the community, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it in SmokeNade and to let other players view and copy it into their own crafts. You can withdraw a submission at any time; copies other players have already made remain theirs.
Community submissions are reviewed and may be declined or removed at our discretion.
4. Rules
Do not:
- post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's rights;
- impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
- scrape, overload, reverse engineer or attack SmokeNade or its data, or try to get around its limits or security;
- use SmokeNade to scam, defraud or mislead other players.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
5. SmokeNade Pro
When SmokeNade Pro is available, it is sold as a subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play. It renews automatically until you cancel, and you manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Payment, renewal and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their terms. Prices are shown before you buy.
6. Changes and availability
SmokeNade is under active development. Features may change, be added or be removed, and SmokeNade may sometimes be unavailable. We may update these terms; we will post changes here and update the date above, and continuing to use SmokeNade after a change means you accept it.
7. Ending your use
You can stop using SmokeNade and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.
8. Disclaimers
SmokeNade is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of data, to the fullest extent the law allows.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, SmokeNade and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, items or data, arising from your use of SmokeNade. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
10. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold SmokeNade harmless from claims arising from content you submit or your breach of these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
